The Collection: Amber Manufacturing    back
At the dusk of the Neolithic (about 3000 BC) there existed numerous centres of amber manufacturing by clusters of settlements on the coasts of Baltic and North Seas. It is only 20 kilometres that separates the Museum (Stegna, Poland) from such centres in the region like NiedĽwiedziówka or Stare Babki. The workshops produced amulets and jewels, some of whom have been found during excavations.
